Hack the Future

This hackathon allows students to make fun projects with IT companies and compete for awards. Hosted in Antwerp, the two day long event has challenges for both technical and non-technical enthusiasts. I participated in the following project:

Wizard Academy: Become an alchemist and cook magical potions with Laravel

The goal of the challenge, created by Codana, was to brew and mix potions on a website made with Laravel. Each potion had an ingredient type and potions needed to meet the mixing requirements in order to be brewed. In groups of two,we started setting up the environment and making our websites. Every single group had a different take on the project, some even had completely different sprites for the potions and interpreted the logic behind the brewing alternatively. At the end, we all voted on who had the best project and at the end of the event all winners were awarded.
